Brand Design

Mood Board
The logo brainstorming phase involved many thumbnail sketches to explore a range of visual concepts.
Logo Creation
I selected three thumbnails to further explore and refine in Illustrator.
Refinement and typography selection were the next steps in the process.
I paired the visual with Garamond type because of its unique lowercase ‘a’ and classic style. I then started to test different color combinations.
Logo Application

Ever Blue Branding Logo
Ever Blue Branding is a new student-run agency at MTSU. The logo design needed to represent both professionalism and creativity to entice clients. My solution was based on combining something infinite and blue. I was inspired by Gordian knots, as they are infinite shapes, and birds from the blue sky.
Below is my presentation of the logo and applications.
Bo Diddley T-shirt designs
International branding agency Dead Horse Branding manages the estate of famed musician Bo Diddley. Seeking fresh ideas for merchandise, they reached out to students at MTSU to design T-shirts using Bo Diddley quotes. The resulting designs play with typography and shapes to engage the viewer.
